Sunpure Superfoods was founded by dynamic husband-and-wife duo Dean and Aizelle. We are an extremely busy, active, and cheerful family of 3.
Yes, we are a small family-owned business, and we are passionate about nourishing families from the inside out. From balanced, authentically sourced superfoods to harmonious family, friendship, and work relationships, that is how we build a resilient community.
Aizelle & Dean
Both of us come from a strong health background. Aizelle was a qualified nurse and chef for over 12 years, and Dean went through his own health journey.
During the COVID lockdowns in 2020, we began searching for true premium-grade shilajit to support our detoxification and immune system. After nearly a year of trying several shilajit on the market, we finally found one that felt in harmony with our body - consistently.
We noticed deeper sleep, clearer thinking, and steadier energy, and our families felt it too.
In 2023, Sunpure Superfoods began humbly from our living room, sharing these little jars that gave us hope with others seeking to feel more supported in their health.
Now, nearly 5 yrs on, we still take shilajit, listen to our bodies, and stay grounded through nature, hiking, sunrise sunlight, and meditation.

Our Team
We pay tribute to our local Himalayan hunters who make our gold-grade shilajit possible. Their families have done this for generations, trained by their fathers and lineage before them. They are among the few hunters with permits to go beyond the usual peaks, as their lungs have adapted to the thin oxygen at 17,000 ft. altitude and beyond.
They harvest with the highest respect in these sacred lands, where gemstones are also found. They know exactly how gold-grade shilajit stones should smell and look, and where to find them.
Some days, they return empty-handed after 2–4 weeks of camping and must climb another mountain, all to ensure they collect only gold-grade shilajit.
